{V Family} Family Session

I can't believe it's been over a year since I shared this little guy's newborn session with you. To think he's already a year old is crazy. Time certainly goes by way too fast.

Hanlie is an old friend of mine from school and her having a baby was one of the main reasons I started to get into photography more seriously. Before that I used to only take photos of my family, but after having the privilege of taking newborn photos for her, I fell in love with photography on a whole new level. Being allowed into my clients homes to capture memories for them before their little newborns turn into toddlers in the blink of an eye is a special honour to me.

I was excited when Hanlie asked me to do a family photo shoot with them as it's always so precious to see how the little ones have grown. We spent the afternoon in the park and the light was just perfect. Most of the session we were running after her little toddler as he was exploring the world.

They are a beautiful family and once again the photos speak for themselves of the love they have for each other and their little boy.
